  1. To consider the idea that I am a spirit daughter of God causes me to ponder how I spend my time and my influence. It makes me desire better things of myself and for those around me. It is a gift, really. It colors they way I think, the way I perceive others. It inspires me to nobler pursuits and kinder interactions; especially with family members. As I've experimented on the Word of God in my life, I have seen the fruits and I know that His Light and Truth is what renews me, enlightens me, ennobles me, and encourages me on to be a better person. I am so grateful for the atonement...the privilege to repent, to forgive, to move onward and upward. To not get stuck in bad habits, false traditions, sin. It is a wonderful thing, the gospel.
