Welcome to our blog

Starting January 1, 2012, we will be providing a weekly study topic from the scriptures. Our goal is to increase our faith and testimony of Christ. We welcome your comments and participation, and in fact feel that we learn and grow from one another.

Each week we will present a topic, a quote, a list of scriptures, questions to ponder, and additional resources. From this information, you can choose to spend five minutes each day or much longer. Don't feel guilty about what you are not doing, but challenge yourself to do more than you have done. We hope everyone will choose to BE IN THE SCRIPTURES EVERY DAY! Including Bishop Nelson's personal invitation to read the Book of Mormon by Easter is a very good way to be in the scriptures every day.

Each day we spend time taking care of our physical bodies. For example, we comb our hair, we brush our teeth, we prepare our meals, sometimes we even put on makeup! Each day, we need to address our spiritual needs and nourish our souls by partaking of His word.
